Hello everyone, I hope you are well.
I just discovered that blog is short for weblog.
We have been very busy lately obtaining furnishings from projects at hotels in Columbus, Chicago, Downtown Cleveland & even Amish Country, as well as Case Western Reserve University to name a few.
This has allowed us to offer great deals to our local public customers as well as group homes, campgrounds, motel owners, nursing homes, non profits, smaller outlet stores & many more. We have shipped and delivered items all across northeast Ohio and as far as Colorado.
We are also currently supplying one of our longtime customers with truckloads of furnishings to their Columbus, Ohio warehouse where they will be packing containers later this year and shipping to Africa where they are opening a hotel!
Kind of humbling to think that our reach is truly worldwide.
Remember to check out our online store 24 hours a day (which is doing great) - especially to capture some of those 1 or 2 of kind items that we often get as well as the latest inventory!!
The last few months have been very challenging to say the least. I have gotten several calls from (and visited a few) hotels that have closed and will not be reopening. It is sad and reminded me of an old song I hadn't heard in a while "Hearts Hotel" by Dan Fogelberg.
Song starts with:
Well there's too many windows in this old hotel
And rooms filled with reckless pride
And the walls have grown sturdy
And the halls have worn well
But there is nobody living inside
Nobody living inside
To me the song has to mean in part that nothing last forever. These tough times we are in right now will not last forever either.
Give it a listen to and let me know what you think?
We just entered our 35th year of business and could not have done it without the support of all our family, customers, clients and vendors.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
